Model EB-1278 with single top utility box.
This Extendo Bed was the orginal prototype built in 1986 and is still in service. The Cargo Carrier (a 78" "Single Top" Utility Box, or model number UB-78-S) shown on the Extendo Bed (EB-1278) above in this cargo van setup is constructed of Sheet Metal. The top shelf is custom fit for use with the small plastic storage bins that are commonly used by electricians, plumbers, and other service type technicians. Another model called our Twin Top Utility Box has a second shelf 6" above this upper shelf. Shorter utility boxes can be placed on longer Extendo Beds leaving a work bench on the end.
