slides. All screening necessary to keep items from rolling
into the slides is included in the price.

Weapons

Easel
Board
The Easel Board is a collapsible assembly, that, when
unfolded and hung onto the corner of the Extendo Bed
has two magnetic dry-erase surfaces that are approximately
22"t x 30"w. This assembly must be stored
during transport - they take up approximately 23"
x 33" x 2 1/2" of space, each. There are a
variety of ways to add storage areas on the Extendo
Bed, for one or two of the assemblies. Please call if
you have any questions.

Command
Board & Pull-out Table & Fold-down Table
This photo feaures a number of our "Command"
options. There are drawers, a Fold-down Table, a pull-out
table, and a Command / Map Board. The tables and command
board are typically dry-erase polypropylene, but can
be dry-erase porcelain coated sheet metal (magnetic).
We can also build dry-erase boards that are mounted
on the side of the structure and fold-up at an angle.
We can build any of these items just about any size.
The Command Boards range in price from $322 for a smaller
standard dry-erase, to $705 for a large reversible magnetic
board. The fold-down tables range from $322 to $483
for typical sizes, and the pull out table is typically
$380. Sizes and material options can affect pricing.
We work with our customers to give them the features
they need and want, so long as it fits the Extendo Bed
and the vehicle.

Pencil
Tray & Tool Drawer
The Pencil Tray is a small aluminum tray sized for pencils,
white board markers, erasers, and other small miscellaneous
items. Also shown in the photos is a couple of drawers,
and a command board.
Slide
out Mounting Wall
This sliding wall is attached to 300# capacity slides,
with a plywood surface for mounting SCBA's, Fire Extinguishers,
etc. It is especially useful for sliding out the SCBA
or Air Pack, backing up to it, hooking in, and walking
away. No more grabbing the pack and throwing it over
and around your back to get it on. It can be mounted
on either side, or even out the end, if that works best
for you.
Stokes
/ Backboard Slot & Plywood Mounting Wall
We call the space for sliding in backboards and or Stokes
or Litter baskets a "Slot" - backboard or
stokes. The sides of the slot are typically either steel
mesh, or mesh and plywood (as shown here), or both plywood.
This is also a very nice picture of the Plywood Mounting
Wall.

Radio
Panel & File Drawer & Fold-down Table
The Radio panel is aluminum and is removable and can
be cut to fit whatever radio equipment you may have.
The side panel (outside) is also removable for better
access for setting your equipment up. All these features
are very neatly capped off when the dry-erase fold-down
table is closed..

Bomb
/ Day Boxes
This bomb or day box is built per the ATF specifications
for a "Type 3 magazine", with the addition
of the Rhino Coating on the plywood which is wrapped
all around the inside. There are two compartments with
a center divider, with one overlapping lid. It does
require that you supply your own padlock. The box is
mounted to 300# capacity slides. It is nearly 100# by
itself. It can also be padlocked closed to the Extendo
Bed frame structure for additional security.

The following bomb or day boxes aren't
in complete compliance with the current ATF Specifications
regarding a "Type 3" magazine. The "door"
is to overlap the "door opening" by at least
one inch; and these fall just shy of that requirement.
It is a very convenient setup, where each compartment
is totally separate from the other. A "variance"
can be obtained from the ATF for this box design.

Scale
Racks
These Scale Racks are built to maximize the number of
scales stored in the least amount of space. There are
16 scales mounted in this setup - 8 accessible from
each side. We build these racks to fit the various scales
that will be used by the vehicle enforcement agency.

Evidence
Enclosure w/ keyed paddle latch
The Evidence Box is an aluminum diamond plate enclosure.
The sides are of .063 thickness, and the door is .100
. This drawing shows the keyed paddle slam latch. It
can also be locked using your own paddlock with a hasps
latch. (PS: we haven't received a real good photo showing
this feature, yet).
Bottle
Racks
This style of bottle rack we build, offers the ease
and convience of easy access. The bottles are very easily
pulled out, instead of lifted up and out of a normal
containment tube. We do also build the tube style when
space dictates it. These racks are build of sheet metal,
and formed to fit the specific bottles to be stored
in them, then sprayed with Rhino Lining. There is some
type of containment to keep the bottles in - here we
have fold-down gates.

Cascade
Bottle Rack
This cascade bottle rack is very heavy duty, obviously
to keep these monstor heavy bottles in place. Typically
the upper decks are removable for easier mounting and
replacement of the bottles.

Fold-down
Gates
The fold down gates is typically built with steel mesh
in an steel angle frame. It is hinged with a piano hinge,
and latched with barrel bolt latches or spring slam
latches. They are typically 6" high.

Computer
fold-up table
This fold-up Computer table is not permanently attached.
It will hook onto the angle rail, anywhere that will
not cause any interference. It stows flat as shown in
the photo on the right side.
Power
lift Map Board in Drawer
This setup shows a very clean way to store this Power
lift, Map / Command Board, with necessary accessories
like; pencils, erasers, markers, and a bunch of paperwork
or other supplies. It stows flat, and when you pull
the drawer out, you lift up on the tab, and the gas
springs do the rest. It also features a clear polycarbonate
cover over the dry-erase white board, or in the case
of this unit - the Accountability Board. Kent Fire was
the first to request this kind of setup, and we have
done several since, because of the clean look and the
functional use. The bottom photo shows it just after
we built it, before it was put in use by another department.

Energy
Chain
Here is another optional product that we have been offering
since early 2004. It works
very well if you are running any electrical cords from
your vehicle to the Extendo Bed.
Prices range from $65 for the 40/42" to $180 for
the 90".
