Mr. Cherry, a registered Professional Engineer, designed and developed the Extendo Bed. He, along with his wife, Kay, owns all patent rights, and directs all engineering, design, and manufacturing activities.

We developed the Extendo Bed in the summer of 1986 for a cargo van in a small business we operated. Extendo Bed evolved to a company dedicated to providing solutions to the working man and his "vehicle".

Though our initial units were designed and built for the construction trades, we have since expanded to numerous fields and applications, developing solutions wherever we go; from small "mom & pop" operations to large national corporations and municipalities; from rural fire and police departments to all branches of the military and Weapons of Mass Destruction teams, and government agencies from coast to coast. We pride ourselves in our ability to get to know our customer's needs, whether it is an intricate mobile command center or a simple shelving system; and then to work with them in developing new and creative solutions.

From an engineering stand point, we believe our units have no equal. Our engineering is sound. Our 1200# to 1800# load capacity at over 100% extension is unmatched in the industry. That most of our earliest units installed in the late 1980's are still in service is a testament to their quality and durability.

Each member of our Extendo Bed Company team, from our welders and assemblers to our clerical staff and engineers, understand our desire to take customer service to a new level. We will respect your time and your resources by meeting promised schedules and by being honest and fair in all our business dealings, and most of all, by standing behind our products.

Though we are growing leaps and bounds, I still find pleasure in working with each customer that has a specific need. Our continuing goal is to provide service and quality above the "norm" and beyond the sale. Kay and I regularly answer the phones ourselves.
